Abstract
Architectural knowledge and knowledge, like all human knowledge, relies on certain ontological and epistemological foundations as the main philosophical topics of the new era. The premise of the research is that simplicity in architecture can establish harmony between the sphere of human life environment (architecture), the sphere of human inner self and Ego (anthropological and self-knowledge sphere) and the sphere of existence and reality (ontological sphere) And this is based on the basit al-haqiqah rule of Mulla Sadra. And it is current. The aim of the research is to rely on the mentioned rule, to open and better clarify the ontological and unitary view of the phenomenon of architectural knowledge and the relationship between "truth" and "objects" in contemporary architecture. The research method is a combination of the methodology of logical reasoning and qualitative content analysis based on philosophical rules and the study of library documents, which, after examining the architectural and philosophical backgrounds in question and explaining the rule of "the ego in its unity is all faculties" and the rule of "basit al-haqiqah", defined simplicity in architecture; Then, with a review of the foundations of transcendental wisdom, a step is taken to understand Sadrai's thought, and at the end it is concluded that architectural design is a manifestation of architectural simplicity, architectural simplicity is a manifestation of sensual simplicity, and sensual simplicity is a manifestation of divine simplicity; Such simplicity, which is the result of "multiplicity in unity" and "unity in multiplicity" in the context of Mulla Sadra's basit al-haqiqah rule, can be a way to connect the plurality of contemporary architecture with true unity.
